This Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District will sponsor a pre-made rain barrel distribution at the City of Falls Church Property Yard, 7100 Gordon Road, Falls Church. Barrels will be sold for $65.

Rain barrels are placed under downspouts to collect water from roofs. Each barrel holds approximately 50 gallons. Rainwater collection can help save water for use in yards, eliminate potential flooding, and reduce stormwater management costs.
