New Hope Housing Receives $5K TD Charitable Foundation Grant

New Hope Housing has received a $5,000 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD bank, for its Housing First Apartments Program.

The HFA Program provides long-term affordable housing with ongoing support services for previously homeless single adults. The program, which currently serves 34 formerly homeless adults, has demonstrated effectiveness in helping chronically homeless individuals attain housing in the community, address chronic health problems, end their social isolation, and reduce the cost of public services needed to assist unsheltered homeless persons.

New Hope Housing provides housing, outreach, and support services for homeless families and single adults in Fairfax and Arlington counties and the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church.
