‘Stang Soccer Takes State Titles

Mason Girls First-Ever Team to 6-Peat State Title

The George Mason High School boys and girls varsity soccer teams both secured VHSL state soccer titles this weekend.

The girls team won 4-0 against Stuarts Draft High School in the championship game, making the Mason squad the first to ever win six consecutive state soccer titles.

The boys team won 2-1 over Stonewall Jackson High School of Quicksburg, a team previously undefeated until falling to Mason in the championship game.
