Lost Calico Cat Injured in F.C. Dies

A female calico cat that was found injured outside of an antique shop on Broad Street has died.

On April 8, Falls Church City police responded to a call about the cat, who appeared to have been hit by a car and had a fractured skull. She was taken to a vet, per the City’s policy in dealing with injured domesticated animals.

After hours of observation, the cat wasn’t able to breath on her own due to neurological damage and was put down.

She was not wearing a collar, and repeated scans revealed no ID chip.
