F.C. Area Under Flash Flood Warning,Tornado Watch

The National Weather Service limited the tornado watch over the Falls Church region from midnight to 10 p.m. but announced a flash flood warning in effect until 10:45 p.m. with a flash food watch continuing to midnight. As much as two inches of rain expected to fall on the region in the next hours. A tornado warning has been issued for the area around Waldorf, Maryland, with residents urged to take immediate cover.
