Harris Teeter, Neighbors Reach Final Accord

At Tuesday’s Falls Church City Council meeting, representatives from Rushmark Properties and Harris Teeter publicly reached agreement with representatives of nearby Winter Hill Homeowners, a final step in moving the project forward. There will be a single entrance to the project on Annandale Road, as the neighbors wanted, and deliveries to the grocery will be allowed Saturday mornings from 7 to 9 a.m. by non-tractor trailer trucks, such as bread delivery trucks, as Harris Teeter wanted.

Rushmark’s Patrick Kearney said that a site plan will be submitted to the F.C. Planning Commission for review and approval soon.
