The Junior League of Northern Virginia will hold its fourth annual Kids in the Kitchen Children’s Health Fair on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Giant Food parking lot at the Kings Park Shopping Center, located at 8970 Burke Lake Road, Springfield.
The Kids in the Kitchen Children’s Health Fair is an event that encourages kids to live a healthy lifestyle by providing resources for child based exercise and nutrition education.
The health fair will include fitness demonstrations, interactive booths, games, and other fun activities. Participating children will have an opportunity to enter a drawing to win a Wii and Wii Fit. DJ LoudTone will provide musical entertainment.
There is no charge to attend the KITK Children’s Health Fair, and all ages are welcome. Exhibit opportunities are available for community partners that focus on childhood wellness. For more information, call 703-442-4163 or email kitk@jlnv.org.
