Matchbox Opens in Merrifield’s Mosaic April 12

The newest Matchbox restaurant will open in Merrifield on April 12, the restaurant’s group announced in a release toady.

Matchbox, best known for its pizza and burgers, will be the first full-service restaurant in the new Mosaic District development, opening up next to the Angelika Theater.

The 220-seat Merrifield location will open for dinner daily at 4 p.m. and plans to open for lunch and brunch as soon as possible. Matchbox will also feature a to-go station with the full menu available for phone-in and carry-out orders.

Matchbox in the Mosaic is located at 2911 District Avenue in Fairfax.
