City of F.C. Is Ready for Winter Storm

As the Washington, D.C. area battens down the hatches for the expected storm, the City of Falls Church has announced they are fully prepared for the snow.

The plows are on the trucks, emergency personnel are on call and City crews are on stand by and ready to salt the roads once the snow starts, City Communications Director Susan Finarelli reported this evening. A determination on City government closure as well as trash and recycling collection will be made by 5:30 a.m.

The News-Press will publish updates on closures and other storm-related information on FCNP.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/fallschurchcity and on Twitter at www.twitter.com/fcnp.

Additionally, updates from the City will be available on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CityOfFallsChurchGov, Twitter at www.twitter.com/FallsChurchInfo, the Citizen Info Line at 703-248-5200 and the City website at www.fallschurchva.gov.
