Curtin Named First-Ever F.C. School Board Student Liaison

A bit of history was made at the Falls Church school board meeting this week.

The board approved the appointment of George Mason High School junior Maeve Constance Curtin as the first ever student liaison to the School Board.

As the student liaison, Curtin will serve as a non-voting advisor to the board representing the interests of the students of Falls Church City Schools. Her term will run until June 30, 2014.

Curtin was nominated by a vote of the George Mason Student Council Association.
