Marshall Students Earn Scholastic Art Awards

George C. Marshall High School artists were among the several area artists to submit their works to the Scholastic Art Awards, and a handful of those students earned honors in the competition.

Earning the highest honor of the Gold Key were Bridget Manown with the painting “Scan Me” and Tomiko Tamashiro with the sculpture “Escape.”

The Silver Key was given to Jeongmun (Victoria) Choi both for the mixed media work “Guilt” and for the drawing “Social Media,” and Erika Enriquez earned the award for the photography project “Beauty Of Nature.”

Certificates of Merit were given to Gillian Lee for the mixed media work “Approximately Before” and Jamie Olesker for “Fallen” and Sunhong Park for “Day Dream” in photography.
