Fairfax Adult Softball Benefit Bowling Tourney Nets $14K

Participants, family, friends and supporters of Fairfax Adult Softball united last Sunday for the group’s 13th annual bowling tournament to benefit Northern Virginia Special Olympics and Fairfax County Park Authority field improvements (see photo). More than 250 participants contributed their time and spirits to raise nearly $14,000 in this year’s tournament.

Fairfax Adult Softball is a nonprofit that organizes adult softball in the area. The group welcomes Special Partners in the Special Olympics program, but also offers play for adult men and women in different leagues: men, women, coed, women’s fast pitch, men’s 35+, and men’s 50+.

The registration deadline for this season is March 1.
