F.C. Library Invites Teens to Annual Poetry Contest

The Mary Riley Styles Public Library will host its annual teen poetry contest this month.

The Young Person’s Poetry Contest invites writers in grades 5 through 12 to submit a poems to the library by Feb. 28 to be eligible for one of four prizes awarded in each age group category (grades 5-8 or grades 9-12). Awards will be presented at a special reception in the library on March 13 at 7 p.m.

Submissions can be submitted by mail or by hand to the library at 120 N. Virginia Ave., Falls Church, or by email to cfrostick@fallschurchva.gov.
