City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for January 1 – 7, 2013 

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block Hillwood Ave. On Jan. 1, a male, 24, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 900 block W. Broad St. On Jan. 1, a male, 31, of Manassas, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.

Narcotics Violation and False ID to Law Enforcement, 800 block W. Broad St. On Jan. 1,a female, 21, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana. A male, 19, of Woodbridge, was arrested for Providing False ID to Law Enforcement.

Residential Burglary, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Jan. 1, an unknown suspect(s) stole a firearm and various other items from the victim’s residence.

Trespass, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Jan. 2, a male, 37, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Commercial Burglary, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Jan. 2, an unknown suspect(s) entered the property during closing hours and stole merchandise.

Narcotics Violation, 6600 block Wilson Blvd. On Jan. 3, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. After further investigation, the driver, a male, 19, of Fairfax, was arrested for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. The passenger, a male, 21, of McLean, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.

Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Jan. 4, a male, 41, of Annandale, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 6773 Wilson Blvd. (Saigon Bakery and Deli) On Jan. 4, an unknown suspect stole cash from a drawer.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 block Kent St. On Jan. 5, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a GPS device from an unlocked vehicle sometime between Dec. 21 and Dec. 22.

Defrauding a Keeper, 200 block N. Oak St. On Jan. 6, a male, 28, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Defrauding a Keeper after failing to pay a taxi fare.

Shoplifting, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #43 (Wish Diamond and Jewelry) On Jan. 6, an unknown suspect stole merchandise from the store.

Narcotics Violation, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Jan. 7, a male, 24, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.
