City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for January 8 – 14, 2013 

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation. 

Driving Under the Influence, 800 block S. Washington St. On Jan. 8, a male, 29, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Vehicle, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Jan. 8, a laptop was reported stolen after a vehicle was towed from the premises.

Graffiti, 200 block Pennsylvania Ave. On Jan. 8, graffiti was reported on a traffic sign.

Trespass and Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. On Jan. 9, a male, 55, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespassing and Public Drunkenness.

Graffiti, 500 block Great Falls St. On Jan. 9, graffiti was reported on a traffic sign.

Graffiti, 127 E. Broad St. (Applebee’s Restaurant) On Jan. 10, graffiti was found in a bathroom stall.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Café Le Mirage) On Jan. 10, a female, 20, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. The employees, a male, 37, of Springfield; and a male, 28, of Falls Church, were arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Destruction of Property, 200 Little Falls St. On Jan. 10, an unknown suspect(s) damaged a window to a vehicle. Property was also taken from the vehicle but later recovered nearby.

Larceny from Vehicle, 103 W. Columbia St. On Jan. 10, an unknown suspect(s) broke a window to a vehicle and stole a laptop.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area and Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Jan. 10, a male, 38, of Falls Church, was arrested for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area and Public Drunkenness.

Narcotics Violation, 400 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Jan. 12, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 46, of Manassas, was arrested for Possession of Cocaine.

Larceny from Vehicle, 228 W. Broad St. (Doodlehopper 4 Kids) On Jan. 13, an unknown suspect(s) smashed a window to a vehicle and stole a purse.

False ID to Law Enforcement and Public Drunkenness, 6763 Wilson Blvd. On Jan. 13, a male, 55, no fixed address, was arrested after Providing False ID to Law Enforcement and Public Drunkenness.

Destruction of Property, 103 W. Broad St. On Jan. 13, an unknown suspect(s) smashed a window to a vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 900 block Lincoln Ave. On Jan. 14, an unknown suspect(s) stole medication from the property.
