After an armed robbery outside the Red, Hot & Blue Restaurant in Falls Church last Sunday night, police are now reporting that an additional robbery occurred on N. Washington St. near Park Ave. in the City just 30 minutes later.
Police say the second victim was approached by three men, matching the same description of the suspects from the earlier robbery at Red, Hot and Blue on Hillwood, demanded the victim’s personal items before fleeing on foot. The victim of the second incident just reported the crime to police today.
At 9:50 p.m. Sunday December 16, three Hispanic males, one brandishing a gun, demanded a wallet from a victim outside the restaurant Red, Hot and Blue on Hillwood Ave. in the City of Falls Church, Falls Church City police reported Tuesday. The witness says one of the suspects had a semi-automatic handgun.
The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. Sunday night when the three suspects, described as Hispanic, approximately 16-20 years of age, one 5’5″ tall with a mustache, one 5’8″ wearing a ski mask and the third approximately 6′ tall, approached the victim at 169 Hillwood Ave. Police believe both incidents are related.
There were no reports of injuries in either incident.
