Yeah, yeah, people have been doing the Christmas thing for a while now –some even before Thanksgiving– but this Saturday marks the beginning of December and that, my friends, is when you should officially start decking the halls and getting down with the jolliness. And you’ll be hard-pressed to find a jollier group of people than the participants of the D.C. Santa Bar Crawl on Saturday when a horde of red-and-white clad revelers are unleashed upon the streets of the District. The annual celebration starts at 3 p.m. and features food and drink specials for anyone in a Santa suit or festive holiday attire at the Black Rooster, Lucky Bar, Irish Whiskey, The Mighty Pint, Public Bar and Big Hunt. So go, eat, drink and be merry– ‘tis the season after all.
