In advance of Hurricane Sandy hitting the Washington, D.C. area, Falls Church City Public Schools and all day care operations will be closed for students and staff tomorrow, Monday, October 29. In addition, the City of F.C. Government will be closed and essential employees are advised to report to their supervisors.

The F.C. Community Center, 312 Little Falls St., will be open during regular hours on Monday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; however, all Parks and Recreation programs are canceled for Monday.

In-person absentee voting will close at noon on Monday, October 29. in the City’s Registrar’s Office located at City Hall, Suite 101 East; enter the building through the Police Department on level G2.

The Mary Riley Styles Library will be closed.
