According to the Fairfax Democratic Committee, several reports have been received of touch screen voting machines switching the names on the ballot before vote is cast. Persons experiencing this are urged to stop, to not vote on that machine, to alert the election officer at the poll, to record the number of the voting machine and the name and phone number of the voter affected and to contact vote@fairfaxdemocrats.org. Voters are encouraged to use paper ballots (“optical scan” machines) where available.
