Call for Volunteers, Absentee Votes Before Election Day

Betty Coll, chair of the Falls Church City Democratic Committee, issued a public call this week for volunteers to assist voters on the Nov. 6 Election Day and before, as well. “We all know that this election will be determined by voter turnout and with volunteers helping to get the Democratic Party ticket elected in this battleground state,” she said.

In fact, the election in Virginia will be directly affected by how many people go to the polls early to vote in-person absentee.” The Voter Registrar’s office in city hall is open every day, including the next two Saturdays, and the last day to vote in-person absentee is Nov. 3. Coll urged citizens to contact her committee at FCCDCBlue@aol.com.
