Moran Campaign Accepts Resignation Of Patrick Moran

The campaign of U.S. Rep. Jim Moran (D), seeking re-election to an 11th term from the 8th District of Virginia that includes the City of Falls Church, accepted tonight the resignation from the campaign of Moran’s son, Patrick, in the wake of a video posted on the internet where he apparently discussed methods to engage in voter fraud. The Moran campaign statement is as follows: “Patrick is well liked and was a well-respected member of the campaign team. This incident, however, was clearly an error in judgment. The campaign has accepted Patrick’s resignation, effective immediately.”
