John Lawrence, appointed to fill an unexpired term on the Falls Church School Board last week, will be formally sworn in to his new position Friday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Schools’ central office, 800 W. Broad. Lawrence resigned his positions on the Planning Commission and the Library Board this week, and will be present for his first School Board meeting next Tuesday.

Lawrence had been on the Planning Commission for close to eight years. An appointment to replace Lawrence on the Planning Commission will be made soon.
