As a result of the FCPS-Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, Fairfax County Public Schools students may now download Microsoft software for free and maintain a perpetual license; this is under the Microsoft Student Option. Products include Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, and Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate. Microsoft has contracted with software distributor e-Academy to manage all aspects of this program.
