Fête to Mark 25 Years of NOVAM Service

The Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and will be hosting a celebratory reception Thursday at Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill in Alexandria from 6 – 8 p.m.

Businesses donating to the celebration are Anthony’s Restaurant, Argia’s, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Clare and Don’s Beach Shack, Dogfish Head Ale House, Dogwood Tavern, Economy Party Supplies and Costumes, Ireland’s Four Provinces, Mad Fox Brewing Company, Natalia’s Elegant Creations, Pizzeria Orso, Sfizi Café, amd Trader Joe’s, as well as Main Event Catering and Santa Fe Café in Arlington and Food Lion in Fairfax.

NOVAM, located in the City of Falls Church, provides HIV Prevention Education programs for youth in Northern Virginia, reaching more than 10,000 young people each year. NOVAM offers HIV/STD/pregnancy prevention education targeted to youth aged 13 – 29 and direct services to individuals, children, and families affected or infected with HIV/AIDS.
