Good food and good value: It’s this simple pairing that Clare and Don’s Beach Shack co-owner David Tax says keeps lunchtime customers coming back for more.

Quality comes by way of fresh products, with the seafood the restaurant is known for coming in fresh every day but Sunday. Lunchtime diners can enjoy that fare at a bargain price by taking advantage of lunch specials, which cost around $7.50 and include a side and a drink.

“It’s a value-driven lunch,” Tax said. “We try to give a good, quality product for not very much money.”

Changing daily lunch specials give even regular customers some menu variety. And even though there aren’t many offices around, Tax says Clare and Don’s has some customers who come back many times a week for lunch.
