How do you explain a business with so many competitors around Falls Church winning as the Best Dry Cleaners for three years in a row? What’s the big secret to the success and popularity of the family-owned Spectrum Cleaners in the horseshoe-shaped plaza across from Mad Fox? Our guess it that in addition to the excellent service, it has something to do with the infectious cheer and enthusiasm that Yeon Mee Lee, along with co-operators her husband John C. Lee and daughters Rachel and Esther, bring to all their customers who come through the door.

The family came from Korea 23 years ago and has been in the D.C. area ever since, lightening the ever-growing load of business with light classical music always playing in the background. Yeon Mee Lee says she owes a lot of the burgeoning success of the business to winning the last two years’ Best of F.C. competitions, and the attention they brought.
