Falls Church Farmer’s Market has been named one of the top Farmer’s Markets in America by Rodale.com, Rodale Inc.’s lifestyle site dedicated to the health and wellness of the individual, community, and planet.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture released its most recent figures showing their increasing popularity: The number of markets increased 9.6 percent between 2011 and 2012. The editors of Rodale.com polled the managers of the most popular farmer’s markets in the country (according to the American Farmland Trust’s most recent annual awards) to get the best insider tips on making market shopping easier (and sometimes cheaper!). They also found out why these markets, including Falls Church Farmer’s Market, have drawn such a devoted community of supporters.
