The Vienna, Dunn Loring and West Falls Church Metrorail stations will be closed this weekend because of testing for the new Silver Line extension as well as tie and insulator renewals. Buses will replace Orange Line trains between Vienna and East Falls Church.

Orange Line trains will operate between East Falls Church and New Carrollton at regular weekend intervals. Passengers using the Orange Line this weekend should allow extra time when traveling between the Vienna and East Falls Church Metrorail stations Friday, Aug.3 through closing on Sunday, Aug. 5. Express shuttle buses will operate between Vienna and East Falls Church only. Customers using express buses should add 15 minutes to their travel time.

Local shuttle buses will operate between Vienna and East Falls Church, with intermediate stops at Dunn Loring and West Falls Church stations. Customers using local buses should add 40 minutes to their travel time.
