City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for July 17 – 23, 2012

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Narcotics Violation, 600 block Poplar Dr. On July 19, officers found marijuana in the suspect’s residence while executing an outstanding arrest warrant. A male, 32, of the City of Falls Church was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. The suspect was also served a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court to answer to previous drug charges.

Providing False ID to Law Enforcement, 200 block S. West St. On July 19, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver stated to the officer identification of a family member who had outstanding warrants. After affecting the arrest at the jail, the driver stated accurate information. The driver, a male, 66, of Arlington, was arrested for Providing False ID to Law Enforcement and Driving with a Revoked License.

Domestic Assault, 900 block Ellison St. On July 20, a male, 51, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 600 block Fulton Ave. On July 21, a GPS was reported stolen from an unsecured vehicle sometime after July 18.

Larceny from Building, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #28 (Saigon NVA) On July 21, an unknown suspect stole a unsecured box of speakers sometime overnight.

Public Drunkenness, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On July 21, a male, 47, of Annandale, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On July 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 34, of Gaithersburg, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Urinating In Public and Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On July 23, a male, 55, of Falls Church, was arrested for Urinating In Public and Public Drunkenness.
