Two schools in the City of Falls Church and five in the greater Falls Church area, have each received $1,000 donations from Bob’s Discount Furniture.

George Mason High School and Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, and Bailey’s Elementary School, Belvedere Elementary School, Falls Church High School, Glen Forest Elementary School and J.E.B. Stuart High School, were given $1,000 checks.

Bob’s Discount Furniture announced last month that it would donate funds to 14 schools in Virginia and Maryland in support of arts and education programs. These funds are made possible by customer donations to collection jars located in the cafes found in every Bob’s store.
