Jackson Joins Alexandria Housing Corporation

The Board of Directors for the Alexandria Housing Development Corporation (AHDC) welcomed former City of Falls Church Housing Corporation chief Carol Jackson as their new executive director last week. Jackson brings significant nonprofit

experience to the organization as an administrator and affordable housing developer in the Northern Virginia market. Jackson has been executive director of Falls Church Housing Corporation (FCHC) where she grew the organization and initiated a number of joint venture projects. Prior to her eight year tenure leading FCHC, she served on that organization’s Board of Directors. Jackson is a multiple term, volunteer member of the Boards of Directors for the Northern Virginia Affordable Housing Alliance (NVAHA) and AHOME. She helped to found the Friends of Falls Church Winter Shelter in 1995 and served many years as its first president.
