Terman is Life Member of Historical Commission

Maurice R. “Ric” Terman was voted by the Falls Church City Council to standing as a life member of the Falls Church Historical Commission Monday night. He became the 14th such person honored with that standing since the commission was established in 1965.

Terman served the commission for over 30 years as a consultant (1977-79), member (1979-1991), chairman (1991-2003) and vice chairman (2003-2010). He’s also served on the F.C. Tricentennial committee, the N. Virginia Boundary Stones Commission, the Nation’s Capital Boundary Stones Committee, the N. Virginia Civil War Trails regional panel, and task forces on cultural resources and preservation.
