McLean High Scores Big at Cappies

It was a banner night for McLean High School’s theater program when the Cappies of the National Capital Area held its gala Sunday to award local high school theater groups. McLean High students, as the McLean Theatre Company under the direction of theater teacher Amy Poe, staged Arthur Miller’s “A View from the Bridge” this season, and the production took the best play award. Its lead actors, Damian Leverett and Lexi Shoaibi, won best actor and best actress, respectively.
