F.C.’s Concerts in the Park Series Returns June 21

The 20th annual City of Falls Church Concerts in the Park series is set to kick off this month, bringing free music to Cherry Hill Park on Thursdays at 7 p.m. from June 21 through Aug. 2. Concert-goers can bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy free performances by local musicians. Each concert also features local artists and their artwork. For more information, call 703-248-5077.

On the 2012 lineup are the Falls Church Concert Band (concert music) on June 21, Mama Tried (bluegrass) on June 28, The Tony Martucci Quartet (jazz) on July 5, Andrew Acosta and the New Old-Time String Band (roots music) on July 12, The Apple Core (Beatles cover band) on July 19, Billy Coulter (roots rock and power pop) on July 26, and Tom Principato (blues and rock) on Aug. 2.
