F.C. Students Earn Degrees

Several students from Falls Church have recently earned degrees at colleges and universities across the nation.

Daniel Carballo received a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont.

Anna Knecht earned a juris doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Clifford Webster earned a Bachelor of Science degree in applied arts and sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology’s Center for Multidisciplinary Studies.

Maria Whittle graduated from Pomona College with a Bachelor of Arts in Russian. Whittle graduated magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors.

Thomas Daniels received his diploma at Marietta College. Daniels completed requirements for the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in theatre and political science. Daniels graduated cum laude.

Ruby Grace Quileste Chu graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in international relations.

At the University of Mary Washington, Laura F. Allan graduated with a B.A. degree in sociology and received the Elizabeth M. Baumgarten Leadership Award; Alexandra L. Atkeson graduated with a B.A. degree in sociology and received an Art Department Award of Distinction; Hannah L. Baumgardner graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in mathematics and religion and received Departmental Honors in Mathematics and Religion; Ramsey D. Hanna graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in biological sciences and chemistry: ACS certified, and received the American Chemical Society Outstanding Chemistry Major Award; Wesley A. Frank graduated with a B.A. degree in geography; Lea P. McLaughlin graduated with a B.S. degree in biological sciences and classical civilization; John R. McNair graduated with a B.A. degree in history; Emily A. Noordhuizen graduated cum laude with a B.A. degree in Spanish. Lucas A. Ruth graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in psychology and computer science and received the Clara Boyd Wheeler Award for community service; and Sara E. Wheeler graduated with a M.Ed. degree in master of education.

Ramsey Kincannon received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The College of Wooster.

Brian Melton graduated from Heidelberg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in German and Computer Science, cum laude, with an Honors Program Diploma.

Jesse Tolliver earned a bachelor’s degree in outdoor ministry and adventure leadership from Eastern Mennonite University.
