City of F.C. Seeks Volunteers for Mentoring Program

The RISE Mentoring Program seeks volunteer mentors provide positive role models for teens within the City of Falls Church Juvenile and Domestic Relations court and the Aurora House group home for girls. This new initiative is managed by the City’s Juvenile Court Services.

Through a consistent and goal-oriented relationship formed under the guidance of the program coordinator, mentors and mentees will strive towards improved academic performance, self-esteem, and social skills.

Prospective Mentors are required to make a minimum one year commitment to volunteering weekly with the program, be at least 21 years old, reside in the Northern Virginia area, and pass all required background checks.
