Substantial Interest in Falls Church Water System

Falls Church City Manager Wyatt Shields reported to the F.C. City Council Monday night that 18 prospective bidders looking to acquire the Falls Church Water System showed up for a detailed briefing about the system and the bid process Monday morning at City Hall. He said they took a tour of the system, as well.

“All we expected to be there were there,” Shields reported. In addition, 22 City and Fairfax County users of the Falls Church system were present for a public town hall on the subject of the sale of the system held in the Community Center.
