Gov. Kaine Speaks in F.C. Sunday Night

Former Virgnia governor and current Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine will be the keynote speaker in Falls Church this Sunday night, April 29, at the annual Falls Church City Democratic Committee (FCCDC) invitation-only Jefferson-Jackson Potluck dinner.

Betty Coll, chair of the FCCDC said that reservations will continue to be accepted through this Friday. Other notables attending include U.S. Rep. Jim Moran, and current and former state representatives including State Sen. Dick Saslaw and State Del. Jim Scott, both of whom represent the City of Falls Church. Former State Sen. Mary Margaret Whipple will also be there. Some Falls Church City Council candidates have also responded and some School Board candidates are expected to attend. The 2012 Marian Driver Award winner will be announced at the dinner. Returning to Falls Church as a guest of the FCCDC chair will be the 2008 Falls Church City Obama campaign office organizer Kyle Lierman.
