AAUW Seeks Books for Scholarship Fundraising Sale

The American Association of University Women is collecting books of all kinds – hardcover, paperback, fiction, nonfiction, children’s literature and more – to sell at their annual fundraising event.

The book sale is set for April 13-14, at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., Falls Church. Sale hours are April 13 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and April 14 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Good, clean, saleable books can be donated by placing them in the book collection bin at the Falls Church Community Center, or calling 703-941-5643 or emailing gjewell@cox.net for larger donations.

Donations are tax deductible, and the value is assigned by the donor.
The sale of the books funds scholarships for local girls and AAUW’s national scholarship program.
