Mason Musician Wins Rotary Contest

Fidler, a senior at Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High School, received a $50 second place award, and Frost, a junior at George Mason High School, received a $100 first place award. He will advance to the Northern Virginia Rotary District semifinal music competition in Fredericksburg on March 17, where three finalists will be selected to compete at the Graham Green III Memorial Rotary Music Competition finals on March 31 at the Rotary District’s Annual Conference in Charlottesville for scholarship awards for music studies of $3,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place and $500 for third place.
