Former Teacher, Traveler from F.C. Dies

Thelma M. Ebert passed peacefully at The Jefferson in Arlington on Monday, Feb. 20. She lived in Falls Church and was formerly of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Thelma was the beloved wife of the late Theodore E. Ebert and is survived by her son Thomas A. Ebert.

Thelma and Theodore both graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a teacher and he was an electrical engineer. She loved to travel, especially visits to the National Parks. Her other hobbies included music, sewing, gardening and reading.

Friends may call at Murphy Falls Church Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24. A memorial service will be held at Little River United Church of Christ, 8410 Little River Turnpike, Falls Church. Interment will be at St. Clair Cemetery in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
