F.C. High Soccer Star Signs With George Washington University

Brooke Bean, a senior at Falls Church High School, just signed her National Letter of Intent to join the NCAA D1 Women’s Soccer Program at George Washington University where she will be receiving both an athletic and academic scholarship.

In the classroom, she has maintained a GPA of a 4.1. She has always made the honor roll and consistently pushes herself to take more challenging courses through the AP program at FCHS. In the game, Bean has made an incredible name for herself. Playing both high school ball and travel (with the FCV Cardinals) she has been an outstanding midfielder.

Bean has been on the All-District team every season in high school, made it on the Regional Honorable Mention team in 2010, the All-Region team in 2011, the All-Met team in 2011, and was the Co-District Player of the Year for 2011.

Looking forward to her college career, Bean will be majoring in communications as she hopes to work in television editing and production.
