Mason Pageant to Net Funds for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

George Mason High School students will compete next Thursday for the chance to represent their school as Mr. and Ms. Mason.

The pageant, hosted by the Student Council Association at the school, is a fundraiser pageant for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Last year’s event raised $675.

One girl and one boy in grades 8-11, and five boys and five girls from the senior class will compete in this pageant for the Mr. and Ms. Mason crowns. Competitors are judged on a written biography, a performed talent, a question-and-answer with the judges, and a formalwear outfit.

The pageant is set for Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the George Mason High School Auditorium, 7124 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church. Tickets are $5 and donations will be accepted.
