Children’s Center to Thank Bus Fund Donors with Reception

The Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center, a non-profit preschool for children ages 2-5, invites those who supported its campaign for a new bus to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and thank-you reception on Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Children’s Center.

The Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center officially launched its bus campaign in March 2011, after the McLean Community Foundation extended a $10,000 matching challenge grant. Through fundraisers at local restaurants – Clare and Don’s Beach Shack, Ledo Pizza, and Baja Fresh – and individual gifts, the center matched that grant and a challenge grant of $5,000 from the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation.

The Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center is located at 7230 Idylwood Road, Falls Church. For more information, visit fcmlcc.org.
