OK. December is officially here and it’s now perfectly acceptable to get into the holiday spirit. I’m a firm believer in waiting until until month number 12 rolls around before getting all Christmas-y, so now that it’s here, go ahead, throw up your wreaths, decorate your trees and yes, string up those lights on your crib. I’ll allow it.
But perhaps the biggest sign of the season? Why, it’s the Santa Bar Crawl of course. The annual romp by a herd of Santas through the streets of D.C. is on for this Saturday. Kicking off at The Black Rooster Pub, The Mighty Pint and Lucky Bar, the convoy of 100+ revelers decked out in red and white suits will get access to drink and food specials at all of the above bars plus at The Big Hunt starting at 7 p.m. There’s no registration required– just a Santa suit or other over-the-top holiday attire.
Ho, ho, ho, let the season begin.
