Emerging from a closed negotiating session about the City-owned Child Development Center tonight, the Falls Church City Council approved a resolution authorizing City Manager Wyatt Shields to sign at two-year lease extension at a rent of $3,000 per month with Easter Seals to run through November 2013. A public hearing ensued mostly involving thanks from parents with children at the center. The vote was 4-1 (Kaylin no, Gardner, Peppe absent).
