PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Falls Church, Virginia, and City Staff, will hold a public Town Hall Meeting on Monday, October 17, 2011 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Teen Room of the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls Street, Falls Church, VA to discuss the stormwater and flooding impacts from the September storms on the City of Falls Church. Representatives from the Public Works and Public Utilities Departments will discuss how the Sept. 8, 2011, severe rain storms affected the community. The meeting topics will include:
 
*Current condition of stormwater and sanitary sewer systems and infrastructure improvement projects to date
*City’s current assessment and planning efforts as well as future public capital infrastructure project needs
*Citizen and business private property mitigation measures
