Former Evans Farm Owner’s Child to Address McLean Club

Caroline Evans Van Wagoner, daughter of the former owner of Evans Farm, will present a talk on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 11:30 a.m. to the Woman’s Club of McLean.

Evans Farm is the 24-acre property along Route 123 that, amid controversy due to its popularity as a public resource, was sold, rezoned and converted to a gated residential community about 10 years ago. Van Wagoner grew up on the farm and will give her impressions of changes over the years. Evans Farm will be the site of the Woman’s Club’s Holiday Homes Tour in December.

The event will take place at Trinity Methodist Church, on Dolley Madison Boulevard (Route 123), in McLean.
