Jody’s Jam of the Week: Taste of Falls Church

It’s that most glorious time of the year when the eateries of Falls Church descend upon the parking lot of the Community Center and dish out tasty bites to the hungry masses. Yup, the Taste of Falls Church is here again.

FF-TOFC_2011It’s that most glorious time of the year when the eateries of Falls Church descend upon the parking lot of the Community Center and dish out tasty bites to the hungry masses. Yup, the Taste of Falls Church is here again.

Seventeen joints will be hooking up the eats on Saturday, where you can get a taste for three bucks, or, if you’re looking for a belly-full, grab a book of 10 tastes for $25. The food fun kicks off at 10 a.m., but for those with just plain insatiable appetities, the F.C. Farmers Market starts three hours earlier and I’m thinking it could be the perfect appetizer for your all-day eat fest.

In addition to the grub at the TOFC, it’s also Fall Festival time, so there will be entertainment on the stage and an acitivity tent for the kids.

What: Taste of Falls Church at the Fall Festival

When: Saturday, September 17, 2011, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Chery Hill Park, 312 Park Ave., Falls Church
