City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for August 30 – September 5, 2011
Narcotics Violation, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Aug. 30, a male, 20, and a 16 year-old male, both of the City of Falls Church, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana. A 15 year-old male, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids.
Larceny from Building, 1100 block Seaton Ln. On Aug. 30, an unknown suspect stole an unsecured bicycle between 5 p.m. on Aug. 29 and 5 p.m. on Aug 30.
Liquor Law Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #1E (Metro Café) On Aug. 30, an officer observed the manager consume an alcoholic beverage in the restaurant. A male 45, of Falls Church, was arrested for Violating an ABC license.
Urinating In Public, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 31, a male, 22, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Urinating In Public.
Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Sept. 1, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 40, of Alexandria, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Public Drunkenness, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #1E (Metro Café) On Sept. 1, a male, 38, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Larceny from Building, 300 W. Broad St. (The Stratford Motor Lodge) On Sept. 3, luggage was stolen from a guest room some time between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 3.
Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sept. 3, a male, 33, of Lanham, MD, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 1300 block S. Washington St. On Sept. 3, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 35, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.
Urinating In Public, 917 W. Broad St. (El Zunzal) On Sept. 3, a male, 29, of Falls Church, was arrested for Urinating In Public.
Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6793 Wilson Blvd. (Tay Do Restaurant) On Sept. 4, an officer responded to a citizen complaint of an individual smoking in the restaurant. a male, of Rockville, MD, was arrested for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
Narcotics Violation and Driving Under the Influence, 100 block N. Washington St. On Sept. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the driver make contact with a parked vehicle. The driver, a male, 45, of Alexandria, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Driving Under the Influence.
Larceny from Building, 115 Hillwood Ave. (Anime Pavilion) On Sept. 4, 3:12 p.m. an unattended wallet was stolen from the premises.
Driving Under the Influence, 7200 block Leesburg Pike On Sept. 5, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 31, of Laurel, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Graffiti, 100 block S. Cherry St. On Sept. 5, an officer observed lettering with blue spray paint on the sidewalk.
Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Arrest, and Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sept. 5, an officer observed an intoxicated individual at the location. While the officer was arresting the individual, the suspect resisted arrest. The suspect also threatened to kill the officer. A male, 54, of Annandale, was arrested for Obstruction of Justice by Threatening a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Public Drunkenness.
